Sounds ambitious? It’s now a reality for thousands of Boston City Campus students. In June 2025, Denver Grigg, Head of the Quality Promotion and Research Unit at Boston, travelled to Las Vegas - not for the casinos, but to collect a historic achievement: Boston City Campus became the **first and only South African higher education institution to receive accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP)**, an internationally recognised mark of excellence in business education. But that’s not all. While there, he and Dr Rob Stegmann, Boston’s Academic Head, were awarded the **ACBSP International Best of Regions Excellence Award** for their research into how Boston breaks educational barriers in South Africa. So yes, we made history. And the world noticed. ## What Is ACBSP - And Why Should You Care? ACBSP is a global accrediting body focusing on **teaching excellence, student outcomes**, and continuous improvement in business programmes.
